Because of the move I am behind on the news but I just heard that "Rosie the Riveter" passed today. What an iconic picture that inspired countless Americans. I know I am not the the only girl who had this poster in her dorm/sorority room. Until today I did not realize the real Rosie, Geraldine Hoff Doyle was a cellist and it was not until the early 1980s that she knew that SHE was the real Rosie.
