Today I got a new student. In all seriousness a student raised her hand in dramatic glory and insanely flailed until I stopped doing my job and gave my undivided attention. Obviously one of the following situations was happening...
1. She was "on it".
2. She was on fire.
3. She solved world hunger.
4. Justin Beiber was at our school.
5. Someone touched her hair.
Nope. Totally wrong. It went something like this.
"come here, please, please, hurry hurry" student
"What's wrong? What do you need?" me
"Is that new student coming in our class?" student
"yes" me
"Well...is she prettier than me?" student
"seriously?!" me
